The MMA Road Show with John Morgan – Episode 102 – Fortaleza

Ep. 102 – Fortaleza: UFC Fight Night 106 preview with Fernanda Prates, featuring Vitor Belfort, Gian Villante, Tim Means

The UFC is back in Brazil for the first time in 2017, and while Cold Coffee is out for vacation, John Morgan joins up with MMAjunkie’s Brazilian correspondent, Fernanda Prates, to take a look at the latest headlines in the sport, as well as preview Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 106 event. Along the way, hear from headliner Vitor Belfort, as well as main card fighters Gian Villante and Tim Means.

This week The MMA Road Show heads to Curitiba, Brazil for UFC 198

Don’t know where Curitiba, Brazil is? Located in the state of Paraná the city boasts a population nearing 2 million people according to a 2015 census.

As a fight fan I love this card. IMHO this is the best card of the year, I like it even more than the marquee upcoming card of the year UFC 200.

Let’s take a look at some of the matches coming up this Saturday night.

Werdum vs. Miocic…. Belfort vs. Jacare… Silva vs. Hill… umm, wow doesn’t do it justice.

Let’s take a look at the UFC Countdown pieces put out about this fight.

Anderson Silva vs Uriah Hall

Jacare Souza vs. Vitor Belfort

Fabricio Werdum vs. Stipe Miocic

And let’s not forget the long awaited UFC arrival (at least for me personally) of Cris Cyborg. Don’t know who she is? Let’s give you a little reminder…

Personally I can’t wait to get back to Brazil, it’s been some time since I have been there and I am looking forward to it.  John, Mike Bohn, newest MMAjunkie addition Fernanda Prates and myself will be bringing you new content from Brazil. So stay tuned and be sure to keep those beverages frosty.

The MMA Road Show with John Morgan – Episode 32 – Sao Paulo, Brazil

Ep. 32 – Sao Paulo: Vitor Belfort (@vitorbelfort), Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (@Minotauromma), Anthony Johnson (@Anthony_Rumble), Fernanda Prates (@NandaPrates_), Mike Bohn (@MikeBohnMMA)

Cold Coffee still can’t get into Brazil, so John Morgan and Mike Bohn are holding down the fort in Sao Paulo. Fernanda Prates joins as a co-host throughout the episode, talking all things Brazilian MMA, as well as feminism (no, seriously). Morgan talks to UFC Fight Night 77 headliner Vitor Belfort ahead of his big trilogy fight with Dan Henderson, while Bohn speaks with retired MMA legend Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira about life outside of fighting. Morgan and Bohn both speak to Anthony Johnson, as well, as he talks about his life in and out of the cage.
