Ep. 60 – Milan: Poirier, Barnatt, Merenda, Johnson

John Morgan is off to Italy for this weekend’s Venator FC 3 event, and he talks with the promotion’s middleweight champion, UFC veteran Luke Barnatt, about what it’s like to be making a living outside of the Octagon. Venator FC co-founder Frank Merenda also explained his philosophy for the Italian promotion and why he elected to bring a few controversial figures to he forefront of Saturday’s card. Meanwhile, while he’s back home in Las Vegas, Cold Coffee also jumps in at Morgan’s request to bring a recent conversation with Dustin Poirier, who returns to the cage at UFC 199. And though he’s not sure if it’s a wise move or not, Morgan also shares a recent conversation with Lavar Johnson, who is serving five years for domestic violence.
