Well we all know how the week ended in a crazy and wonderfully amazing fight put on by Holly Holm and Ronda Rousey. Definitely a fight to remember and kudos to both ladies for putting it out their for our entertainment. Both are warriors with amazing skills and should be applauded for all the discipline and effort it has taken them to reach the level that they have achieved. Total bad-asses. And super kudos to Holm on pulling a great upset on a super dominant champ like Rousey… Amazing fight to watch. A perfect display of talent and skill and proper preparation and game plan…
I just wanted on behalf of myself and John to say thanks again to the heroine of the the week Emma Challands (@echallands) for making her mobile hotspot available to us so that we could upload materials to the @mmajunkie nation and @USATODAYsports networks in a timely fashion. We couldn’t have done it without you Emma. You are a rock star and all the best to you on your efforts to promote MMA in Australia and abroad. We look forward to your awesome MMA news and insights from the Australian community and elsewhere.
Last but not least I wanted to thank a few people who helped us tape a successful podcast in Melbourne and treated us like friends and family… Thank you Justine, Brent, Liam and the Melbourne Central Lion Hotel staff… (If you didn’t know in Australia, Hotel refers to a pub, and Pub refers to a hotel… Just like the water that is supposed to run backwards its all backwards Down Under and totally amazing…) These sick c*nts ( Relax it’s a good thing there and their words not ours.) really know how to make a couple of fellas from the States feel welcome.
